The Innovation Entente Lab (IEL) is a part of the Northwest Pennsylvania Innovation Beehive Network — a collaboration between local universities and the Erie County Public Library dedicated to supporting Erie County businesses and entrepreneurs. The network provides free services designed to stimulate local economic growth. At the IEL, student analysts take a competitive business intelligence approach to research and data collection, helping entrepreneurs and small businesses gain insight into their market, industry, and competitive landscape. The IEL team represents diverse academic backgrounds, including finance, political science, data science, and cybersecurity, with all members trained in intelligence analysis.
